Back in 2004, when “blogging” still felt like the Wild West and Blogger templates were the height of personal branding, The Web of Fudge was born. It became my little corner of the internet.
It was a place to write freely, experiment, and document life as it unfolded. For nearly a decade, the blog accompanied me through school, ideas, and early ambitions.
But in 2013, as I entered the workforce, the blog went quiet. Career, responsibilities, and the rhythm of adult life took over. Between 2013 and 2024, I attempted to revive it more times than I can count. Each reboot started with enthusiasm, only to fade under the weight of shifting priorities.
Now, in 2025, I’m giving The Web of Fudge what I hope will finally be its last reboot. At least, one that sticks. This time, the intention is different: not to chase trends, not to recreate the past, but to write with purpose and clarity. To let the blog evolve with me, rather than trying to rewind to who I was in 2004.
Reboots aren’t failures. I like to see them as reminders that some parts of us are worth returning to.
And for me, The Web of Fudge has always been one of them.
Here’s to fresh starts, renewed creativity, and a blog that’s ready to grow into its next chapter.
